Pageant Time and Registration
You may enter online at www.missheartofga.com or mail entry form in with check postmarked by June 15th. No checks will be accepted after this date, only cash or money order. Girls & Boys ages newborn-2nd grade will compete and be crowned before older girls compete.
Titles to be Awarded
Girls
0-2yrs 3- 4yrs K-2nd grade 3rd-5th grade
6th-8th grade 9th-12th grade
Boys
0-2yrs 3-4yrs K-2nd grade
Awards
Queens & Kings will receive beautiful crowns, custom title sashes, and wonderful gifts.
In addition Miss Thomaston will also receive a $500.00 scholarship. Title holders will have the opportunity to attend many events representing Upson Co including a meet & greet with the Gov. of Georgia and will be spotlighted in the newspaper along with other public appearances. All children not placing will receive a nice trophy. No one leaves empty handed.
(Miss Thomaston may also accept $250.00 cash in lieu of scholarship)
Optional Awards
There will be other opportunities to win also! Judges will choose a winner for each optional from each age division. Optionals are: Most beautiful, Best dressed, Best Personality, and Photogenic. Winners for each optional will receive a beautiful gift. You do not have to enter these optional events to compete for your age division title.
Sponsor Tickets
Sponsor tickets are a great way to pay for your entry fees and win great awards. Ask your friends, family, and local businesses to sponsor you for $2.00 per ticket. Every contestant collecting $200.00 in sponsor tickets will receive a large crown and 4ft trophy on stage. 100% of your ticket sales go towards your entry fee, everything over supports the scholarship program. The contestant with the most sponsorships collected will be crowned the "2009 Thomaston Ambassador" and receive a crown and 6ft trophy.
You may win a sponsorship title or Ambassador and still be eligible for the age division titles.
All sponsorship tickets must be turned in no later than June 22nd, 2009 to qualify for awards.

Tickets are placed in a raffle for wonderful prizes drawn that day!
Attire & Judging
Attire is Sunday best or fancy pageant wear ex. Flower type dress or Easter dress. Children 0-4 will be judged based on first impression, beauty, personality, and overall appearance. Children & ladies ages 5-up will be judged on beauty, overall appearance, poise, and personality. Girls 7 and up will be required to state their names and age and a little something about themselves. (Please keep this brief).Contestants 16-18 & Ladies will also have a question/answer category. Questions will be emailed the week before pageant. Judges will not be affiliated with any contestant and will have no advance notice as to who is competing.
Door Admission
Armbands must be worn at all times to enter pageant
One parent free with each contestant. Adults- $5.00, Students- $3.00.
Children 4 and under admitted free.

I hereby certify that Crowntown, Miss Thomaston , staff, and facility where pageant or event is being held, or anyone associated with this pageant are not responsible for accidents, injury, or theft incurred before, during, or after the pageant and therefore release any liability to said parties. Judges decisions are final. Poor sportsmanship will result in disqualification of contestant and prizes (this includes contestant and family members). The director reserves the right to cancel pageant due to lack of participation with full refund. If pageant is rescheduled die to inclement weather all monies will be carried over to next pageant, no refunds will be given. I understand no refund will be given if contestant fails to show or is disqualified because of misconduct by contestant or family member. Scholarship is paid directly to school attending. Winner must be attending college within 2 years to accept scholarship or $250.00 cash will be paid directly to contestant. Miss Queen must make a minimum of 4 appearances within a year to accept scholarship or cash award, if less than 4 scholarship or cash award will be void. Scholarship or cash will be awarded when she crowns her successor the following year if appearances have been met.
